"Read" items not "Marked Read" in all sections

I'll try to clarify that poorly worder subject:

When I read articles via the Unread News section, they're marked "Read" as I go. The "unread count" at the top decreases as I go along... makes sense thus far.

If I choose another section (such as News or Tech), the articles I've already read earlier are not marked as "Read." If I select the All News section at the top, the unread counter at the top remains the same as when I started, requiring a Ctl-R to re-mark the items as Read and reset the counter.

Quite strange...

Update - Using RC1!

Well, it looks like half of the problem is corrected in RC1:

- The Unread News item correctly returns to normal (from bold) and the "unread count" at the top counts correctly after I've read all the news in my feeds.

- The "All News" item INCORRECTLY continues to count the number of unread items, even after I've read all the news in all the feeds. If I hit Ctrl+R, the "All News" item "unread count" resets to 0 again.

Reset of 'All news' still not works in 3.0 release

I just want to confirm that the 'All news' sections still is not working correctly. It keeps indicating unread items, even when every thing is marked as read.
The version I use is an updated 3.0 release.
