TheDailyWTF Feed Stopped Working

Heyas!

I'm subscribed to The Daily WTF (http://www.thedailywtf.com) feed, but it stopped working some days ago... It shows the number of new posts, but when I select the feed all I get is a blank screen... And if I try to mark the existing posts (that I can't read) as read via the menu, it does nothing, still keeps showing the number of unread posts, unchanged.

I'm using FeedReader 3.07 final.

Anyone else having problems with TheDailyWTF?

Thanks!

Hi!

Please go to Tools > Options > Advanced options and run "refresh unread articles count". Does it fix the problem?

Nope. I still can't read the feed (white screen, as if there were no posts in the feed), and the unread count still shows 21 unread posts. All other feeds work.

Maybe there's something wrong in the XML that makes FeedReader behave like that?

Pahhh.... :) Can you send us a link with screenshot so I can see it white on black (or black on white)?

Look, "The Daily WTF" is selected, showing that it has 21 unread messages, but the main window is blank, empty. If I right click the feed and select "Mark this feed read" nothing happens. Even if I select my "Technology" folder (which has this feed included) nothing is shown, but if I select any other feed inside this or any other folder, everything works as expected.
.
Can you try to add this feed to your list and see if it works?

I think there's some problem

I think there's some problem with how the feed has ben fetched last time. Can you please try to remove this feed and then subscribe again. Let's see what happens.

I tried to subscribe this feed and webview works fine.

I tried to delete and

I tried to delete and re-subscribe before, and it didn't work. But after trying a lot of stuff, I finally found the problem.
.
There was a post in the feed that was about XML, and it had some XML code in it. For some reason, FeedReader didn't manage to interpret this post correctly, which made the entire feed invisible in the "Full" view.
.
That's what I did: I switched to the "Classic" view, and I found out that I could see the posts titles. Then I selected post by post, and found that all of them were readable except for one (the one about XML). Then I deleted the problematic post, switched back to "Full" view, and everything worked as expected.
.
The reason that the feed worked for you is because it is limited to 20 posts, and the problematic one got out of this list 2006-12-13, coincidentally.

The fact that this website is supported by ads is the true, epic WTF of this site. Only the most inept and helpless of the people i know still see ads. I sure as hell have never a programmer worth even the slightest bit suffer through ads.
