Feedreader 3

I am really new to this whole RSS/feeds stuff. I tried to refer to the documentation but I didn't see any troubleshooting issues or common problems.

I have tried to add two feeds. The first one is just the CNN_topstories
(http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_topstories.rss). I get an error that says: "Error adding feeds: Valid name, no data record of requested. Socket error 11004."

So then I tried to add a craigslist feed (http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/hsh) and I received the exact same errors.

I am accessing the internet through a proxy (which I set up in the options) and seems to be working correctly becasue before I set up the proxy I just got an error that said it couldn't find the source.

Please help!!
