Some feature requests

So here's a few of my feature reqs :)

- Font settings for Feed tree and Article list.
- Enclosure column in Article list which would contain a direct link to the enclosure and note the type of the enclosed data.
- To be able to have icons displayed in the Article list for each article. Icons could be defined like Smartfeeds or just from keywords from the BODY of the article.
- More icons for MenuItems. Visual is better :).
- Customizable Keyboard shortcuts.
- Maybe a toolbar.
- Now that FeedReader has VirtualStringTree, Article list can have a few lines from the BODY included below the Article title (for each article). Number of lines could be customizable. And alternative row coloring would be nice. Like in FeedDemon :).
- The last is not really a feature req. more like a proposition. Check this component to see what i mean. This is a splitter panel with proportional resizing and maximize buttons. I have to implement pattern resize yet :). MPL.

Thanks for at least considering these requests.

I'd go for Customizable Keyboard shortcuts. I'm a BIG keyboard fan.
Toolbar is not something I miss at all, but I know it's important for many people.

Please take a look at this thread. In this release font size changes according to Windows font size.

Also take a look at these mockups. We have this BODY thing in works soon. Those images are possible solutions for BODY disaply. We do not know yet what solution is coolest ;).

About the fonts. It's nice to have them autosize, but the font is still default Tahoma even though the user runs a custom XP theme with, for instance, Verdana fonts at 9pt set for MenuItems, Message Dialogs, Tooltips, etc. If you really want to avoid implementing the Font Select option, i think there should at least be an option to make the MainForm's Font property Screen.MenuFont; and make all the components inherit the property.

Oh and i failed to notice that the feature i requested allready exists in the Status column :). Even though the download behaviour is somewhat unclear :\

But great work so far ;). Keep it up :D

I think there should also be an option (with Middle-click or CTRL+click) on a article name, and if the enclosure is present, the enclosure is either downloaded or Executed (customizable). Maybe an option to automaticaly block certain file types, but most of the users have an On-Access antiVirus scanner present these days.

Font settings for Feed tree and Article list

This would be very handy, i run 1920x1200 which makes fonts mentioned above very small.
I did edit the 0.7 to a higher number which worked well for the articles themselves, now I just need to increase size of the feed tree and article list, esp article list, for me.
