Automatically open headline links

Just switched from 2.90 to 3.01 and like many other people, I find that lots of useful features have disappeared. I may learn to live with Intelliupdate, but one thing that is very annoying is that there is no way to set options for a feed to automatically open the headline link. Some feeds are nice and put the full text of a post or article in the feed, but lots don't and require you to go to the website itself. In 2.90 you could set it to do just this, but I can't find this option in 3.01!

We are returning this

We are returning this openheadlinelink option in next release after today's release. Why we left it out at the moment? Problem is that 2.9 has a lot of questionable features. We cannot take them all and put to 3.0. But if there are users for this feature we will happily return this feature.

And by the way - at the moment you can open article link if you are doing doubleclick in article list.

About other features that are gone - Can you be more specific and tell about them to us. Maybe it's easy to return them. It's quite clear that we will not return 100% of previous versions features without users noticing us about lack of them.

also -- how is it done in 2.9?

I went through the documentation but couldn't find out how to accomplish this in 2.9, either. was the OP mistaken or am I missing something?

another vote for this

I'd really like to see this as an option in a new version/revision.

Alot of feeds (especially Digg) include a link to the page that not only contains the article, but the feedback/comments as well. I'd like to see that show by default instead of double-clicking.

In next version this feature

In next version this feature will be available again. Please wait till next week to get it. Or look for development snapshot of 3.03 what will be made available today in feature requests section.
