If you are reading all the new feeds in the morning - useful information, not useful, worth archiving, "worth" deletable - it's absolutely disturbing when the actual feed line permanently jumps up and down, evtually if you are about to archive or delete.
Therefore a switch, a button, a function would be useful: "STOP FEEDING me until I says otherwise".

But, if every second message is about the death of MJ a filter would be good: "Don't feed me with something like "Michael%Jackson". I don't want to do delete if every time. I don't want it in the forehand.
