FeedReader has stopped fetching feeds

Feedreader 3.13 stopped fetching RSS feed items on Saturday and it now uses around 100% CPU whenever run - I can get into the main program menu but this doesn't do anything. It also tends to lag my Firefox (3.0.0.1). The only thing I've installed in the last few days is Tor, but the problem still exists when Tor is turned off completely. FeedReader and IE are not set to use proxies. I am using IE6 and Feedreader 3.12 - I was on 3.13 when the problem started and I went back to 3.12 thinking that might solve the problem (it hasn't).

Any ideas? I've been without RSS for 3 days and I like this client - I really do not want to switch to something else.

100% CPU

Version 3.13 is also for me using too much CPU. FOr example for 10-15 minutes 100% CPU and then its idle... I don't have problems with feed downloads (I have 131 feeds), but during that time the user interface is very slow... Older versions didn't have this problem.

100% CPU - same problem for me

Same problem for me with 3.13
Sometimes, it just hangs, especially when making searches or clicking on a feed with several new items. Then it releases the CPU after 5 minutes.

OK I can totally see this is

OK I can totally see this is going nowhere - I've tried everything I can think of and it's still using up ridiculous CPU amounts, even if it is occasionally fetching feeds. Gonna move to a backup RSS client.

Maybe this'll be fixed in the next version...?
