"Fetching records" forever

I have seen no thread related to this in the last 12 months of this forum, so I assume it is an issue with the latest 3.12 alpha or it is a very rare case. I never got the search function to work. When typing a word, it says "fetching records" and then stays like that forever. The program was still not responding after 10 minutes, so I had to kill the process.
Does anyone have a similar problem? Does Feedreader use lucene by the way? I know that competitor reader called RSSBandit has a very buggy search function, and one of the reasons seemed to be lucene.net. BTW, my database is still quite small (16 channels, 172 unread, 385 news, 11MB size), so I do not think the issue comes from the size of my Database.

Greetings, At first could

Greetings,

At first could close FR and run another FR app "FeedReader Backup Utility", from there leave only "Fix possible database errors" and run it.
Sometimes Firebird database indexes get corrupted, if this happens FR can also search things forever...and overall performance is decreased.

When you search some words, then on left side in search box is icon, click on this icon. Choose option "Search from last 30 days".
Preferred search is always from titles, while title field has DB index, body is more like blob search quite slow.

Thanks Ingmar. Did all this. It works for "Search from title only", but when I search inside title & body, it fetches records for ever / application does not respond.

Search works now !

Upgraded to the latest 3.12 beta. I have no more problems with the search feature, it works perfectly now.
