"Download with other application"

Opera has a cool feature (when it works...) called "Downloads" / "Download with other application". Example for using an external download manager when a link is clicked in Opera is here: http://getright.com/opera.html
I would like the same inside Feedreader, so that when I click on a link pointing to a .rm file, it launches my external download manager.
The current choice "When I click on a weblink, Open in internal browser / or in default browser" is too limitative and does not support links to multimedia URLs.
I know that Feedreader has its own download manager, but I want to use an external program instead because it is already all parametered.

Use external program instead of FR's download manager

Could you implement this, please: when double clicking on the enclosure in an article, instead of using FR's internal download manager (which is nice, by the way), launch an external program specified by the user. You don't have to go all the way to register a different application for each file type. Just make it possible to specify the program to use instead of the internal download manager.
