Feedreader hangs for ever and does not register the feed

I cannot add this feed in Feedreader (3.12). It just keeps forever and never registers the feed.

Although it takes some time, it works well in IE, Opera, RSSBandit.

Greetings,

new FR build is done

Bug is fixed, the problem was timeout. FR has internal timeout 55 seconds.

Add to feedreader.ini [misc] section following lines.

httpConnectionTimeout=180
httpReadTimeout=190

If you have very slow feed, then change feedupdate period (for example)to 6 hours. Slow feeds are affecting overall performance.

Could you help me?

As you can see from a separate post "Help! Feeds not updating", I have many problems with feeds not updating. To make sure I used the latest stable version, I reverted to 3.11. Still none of my feeds update (even manually).
Do you mean that
httpConnectionTimeout=180
httpReadTimeout=190
works only with the 3.12 beta and fails with 3.11? In this case, I must go back to 3.12...
I have many feeds like the one I mention above. Each can take 1 minute or more to generate, so this may be the reason (combined with a slow connection?) why I get the problem of my feeds not being updated in feedreader. But I have no such problem with other RSS readers. I like feedreader so far, but if this problem persists, then I cannot use feedreader.
I need to understand what I can do about it. Ingmar, if you want to give it a try with my database, I can email it to you if you send me your address.

Works perfectly so far.

Works perfectly so far. Thanks for the tip.

PS: by the way, is there a way to "monitor" this forum? I want to be automatically emailed when a response has been posted to my threads.

e-mail ? :-) you use the best RSS reader, all forum has a feed

e-mail notice is still better

Well, most forums offer a RSS feed PLUS an email alert system. Email is better because it sends you a notice when a feed in a thread that you have created youself gets posted. RSS feeds only broadcast all posts in the forum without filtering. If there is a RSS feed for only posts made in my threads, then I would be interested, else a basic email alert system would be nice.
