I am using FeedReader v3.11 on windows 2000 sp4 with internet explorer v6 (with all patches installed).
I use the unreadcount functionality quite a lot in FeedReader. This unreadcount functionality behaves very strange since I started using FeedReader for more than a year ago.
I have 60 channel in my list with several nesting levels.
When a read one channel the unreadcount is 0 and go to next channel, it happens very much that the unreadcount for a previous complete read channels is shown again. I have no idea where the count no itself comes from.
Issueing an update readcount solves the problem but not to the deepest level.
I can include screendumps for this problem but I don't seem to be able to add them to this conversation.
I noticed this problem also in v3.10, v3.09, ...
Does anyone else notice this same problem?
Is this solvable.

unreadcount does very strange things
I am using FR 3.11 personal on XP Pro V5.1.2600 with IE7. I have a similar problem but possibly different. I have between 25 and 30 feeds.
My Unread Email count remains high even after I go to each feed and read or clear all the articles. Doing a refresh has no effect. It seems to be related to only one feed and therefore may be something about the XML. The only way I have found to clear this number is by marking all articles as read in the Unread folder. It's interesting because the count remains high even if I delete the offending articles from the specific feed folder. IN fact the articles remain fully visible in the Unread folder even after deletion.
The feed in question is http://www.weather.gov/alerts/co.rss. This is a government weather site that reports on Colorado.
