"error occured in program"

For several days I keep getting this msg when launching feedreader:
"error occured in program". "internal gds software consistency check (can't continue after bugcheck)".

The feedreader cannot be used, and an error msg keeps poping up if it's open. I'm using the 3.09 version, but the problem consisted after I removed it and installed the 3.10 version as well. What can be done?

FR db has somehow corrupted, use FR backup utility to fix the problem.
