Hello I'm on Windows XP SP2 with IE7.
I Installed Feedreader a few days ago and chose 5 feeds.
Today I found out (with a programm that indicates a litte more than the task manager : Process explorer) that feedreader used 90 MB of my RAM. (taskmanager sais 8 MB)
I uninstalled it completely (deleted also the installation directory) and re-installed it. FR used 40 MB of my RAM.
I added my five feeds and deleted immediately all articles (without reading them, cause I already read them). Used RAM : 50 MB
This is far too much !
And although I DELETE the feeds that I read, the amount of used RAM will not come down. so every day it's a little more... and I can't afford it!
So where is the problem??
Thank you in advance ^^
Feedreader uses a lot of memory
I noticed the same. Feedreader uses about 42 Mb of Ram and about 100Mb Commit charge (virtual memory and physical memory together?). I am using Windows 2000.
It would be nice if it would use not so much (virtual) memory.
