This is an awesome idea, we use Joomla for all our sites and I had never even thought of doing this. It seems me and you are the only ones interested in this idea. Maybe we could go half/half on hiring a coder to make us this option?

Haven't heard a thing from FeedReader. I've recommended FeedReader at my site for a number of years (12 June 2006, FeedReader 3.0), but will remove references to it if I don't get an answer.

Hi,
The data modem supplied is the Huawei E220 USB Modem which a quick Google reveals to be about the £160 mark to purchase by itself. The cost of the modem from Three varies depending on the tarrif and the length of contract but for the £10 per month package it costs £99, £79 or £49 for a 12, 18, 24 month contract repectively. With the £15 month package the modem is totally free on the 24 month contract.

Feedreader BackupUtility Is Useless in fixing Internal GDS Error

Hi,

Like a lot of other users, your Feedreader Backup Utility did not fix the Internal GDS Software Consistency Check. I ran it under every possible combination of checkbox ticks and un-ticks. I ran it with everything unchecked except Tidy, and all the other methods. It did nothing.

Next, I fully uninstalled Feedreader, and reinstalled 3.14. The same error occurs as soon as it's installed.

Next, I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7, and completely re-installed it again. And guess what? It STILL doesn't work!

So, with all due respect i-Systems, is there a fix, or should we give up on the software as a waste of time?

Go to

and download file:

Firebird-2.1.2.18118-0_Win32_embed.zip

from there. unpack this file to feedreader folder. Also delete fbclient.dll and rename fbembeded.dll to fbclient.dll.

After this application should run.

If you press F3 its a keyboard shortcut to add a new feed, and if you have a URL in the clipboard that is already pasted into the field - which is very handy.

Of course there doesn't seem to be a reason to read the clipboard unless you press F3.

No idea if you can disable it, i would guess not.

I'd definitely second this - FeedReader is my favourite RSS client but the other contenders (GreatNews and FeedDemon) both have this feature which I miss greatly!
