Yesterday's feeds

When I turn my FeedReader at work on Monday, I find that all of the updates that came over the weekend from news sites arent there. Is there any way to retrieve feeds from a day or two ago? I keep my computer and FeedReader on during the night, but turn it off on the weekends.
