Feedreader.com - Error Adding Feed: Connection Timed Out. Socket Error 10060 - Comments

Error Adding Feed: Socket Error # 10060

Everytime I add a feed, I get the socket error #10060 response. When I go to Tools - Options - Connections - Get settings from Internet Explorer, nothing happens. What can I do to rectify this problem?

I tried changing my proxy settings to 'use proxy server'...
got a new error message.
Error adding feed: Valid name, no data record of requested. Socket error 11004

there are two possibilities.

there are two possibilities. this can be problem of one feed. but if you cannot subscribe to any of feeds then you should check out what proxy settings are in use in office and then input them in feedreader connection options

I just installed Feed reader and encountered such error. Could it be a socket block due to my office network?
