I have the exact same error message also on XP. I've tried unistalling, reinstalling, deleting files, fixing databases, checking the filesystem for errors. Applying the latest version and patch for MSXML. Its been two weeks now that Feedreader stopped working with the "Application Can not Start(7). Class not Registered" message.
I loved the program, and don't want to switch to something different, but I can't keep going without any feedreader.

Does ANYONE have a clue how to diagnose or fix this error?

Hello all. I'm getting the same error ("Application Can not Start(7). Class not Registered").
I downloaded MSXML (version 6) and it didn't install because I have a newer version installed. I removed MSXML and installed it again but without any luck.
I don't want to give up on this program so any help would be kindly appreciated.

Hello,

I am using FeedReader on my desktop(XP) for a long time.
3 days back I started getting this error in a message box,
"Application Can not Start(7). Class not Registered" when i started FeedReader.

it is refusing to go away now and feedreader is not at all starting.

I even tried updating to the latest version of FeedReader and still i am getting the same error..

Has some ever encountered similar problem..? What could be a possible solution?
