will just point out this again...i guess it's still there, i dont want to try because you can lose smartfeeds...:-)

anyway this is the issue

this occurs sometimes when you want to delete a smartfeed and you do, but also there can be smartfeeds without a visual indication marked also deleted...and those you don't want to delete...

example...you have read a smartfeed, marked it read...you have the hide read feeds ON..so you dont see it any more...then you go to the feed/smartfeed you want to delete and accidental you can also delete the previous feed, even if you dont see it...i have not noticed this in "old" FR...just so you know and can try for your selves

...the solution is, when you want to delete smartfeeds, make sure you have option "hide read feeds" unmarked, then you can see if FR still "marks" any other feed

you mean that this only happens in my installation...doubt that...done this 100 times before with old FR, never happend

scenario this morning was as follow

added new feed, renamed it...deleted the reference, and
a smartfeed created yesterday vanished

only reports what happens..but since its more likley this issue occurs when deleting a smartfeed/reference i will keep a eye close to this in the future and report...

its obvious it's not like the firebird, since i can't edit smartfeeds in a correct way (reported before)

While all logic is 100% as in Firebird.

If some smartfeed vanishes, could you check direct in sqlfilters table.

select * from sqlfilters
where parent_node=0
order by id desc

One test...create one smartfeed and save it, then run this query with Mysql query browser. Somehow I've a feeling, that smartfeed is not saved correctly.

and i have NO idea why...

but what i DO know IS that i have not touched these 2 smartfeeds in a while, no editing no nothing...

..also i do have deleted references to OTHER smartfeeds, i do that all the time, can there be a mixed up and FR deletes more refernces than it should ??

i also checked directly in the DB...the last 2 days 2 big advanced smartfeeds with a lot of searchwords just have disappeared :-(

Hi Vidar!

It may be a stupid question but is it clear that you do not have "View > Hide read feeds" enabled? Just a thought. If it's cleat that this is not enabled then there's possibility to check from mysql if physically the smartfeeds are still there.

It's a very weird bug BTW. Logic should be 100% the same as in Firebird version. And there we do not loose feeds :).

have no idea why, but the story is as follows...

several times now i have lost some smartfeeds...after exiting Feedreader and started it up again, no error mess, no recent editing, they just vanish
