Well obviously mysql server 5.1 is using up less memory than 5.0 although I use the same settings in both versons. But 5.1 produces these "Transaction/protected section timeout" errors isn't there a way to stop this?

And tell me please will you add the function to open an article in the browser from the context menu again? I really don't get why you removed this.

PS: I know you read this but I really feel like talking to myself on this one.

Still messed up in 3.13

I am still getting multiple copies of feeds with 3.13. I have downgraded again to 3.11 where the problem does not exist.

1 more useful option

You can further more set the option "Keep application in front when opening links in browser" from the advanced tab in the Option window. By doing so, you will open all links in your external browser but in the background (FR window stays on top). I find this option very convenient to avoid going back and forth between FR and the external browser.

Still no go

I upgraded to FR 11.3 midrelease #2 (I was running 3.12) but still no go. The RSS content comes down OK but the rendering is stuffed. An article looks like:

[title] (blue underlined but it's not clickable)
[date], [missing image] digg (underlined & blue) [missing image]
[text]

If I view a group that includes Digg then the entire content is stuffed up in the same way.

I tried deleting the feed and re-creating it but that didn't help.

I notice feedvalidator doesn't like Digg:

http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdigg.com%2Frss%2Fcontainertechnology.xml

Greetings,

no information about Fr version, have you tried latest FR from Development updates. I'm running currently FR MYSQL in this version following feed works.

If you have same problem, with latest FR, then could you provide more detailed information about this error.

I don't want to spam around here but I was misstaken, feedreader seems to start making problems again as soon as the database gets filled with articles. Especially unstarring articles works extremely delayed.

Same Issue Here

Hello all. I'm getting the same error ("Application Can not Start(7). Class not Registered").
I downloaded MSXML (version 6) and it didn't install because I have a newer version installed. I removed MSXML and installed it again but without any luck.
I don't want to give up on this program so any help would be kindly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Today the smartfeed I've been using to search in my archive was changed to an archive itself or at least it got the icon of an archive and I couldn't access it anymore. Also Feedreader has started to hang once in a while and I get more of these Transaction/protected section timeout errors. I don't know if it has something to do with optimizing the tables or with the update yet I haven't had these errors before.

Updated to the download from the "Development updates". Did you remove the "open article in browser" from the context menu? It was pretty usefull?
